Conam aims to create community while coordinating and supporting existing parent groups, community leaders, and those who wish to form groups. In addition, Family Equality will empower and support group and community leaders to help enhance their work and better support families.
Conam is committed to being welcoming, mindful, and inclusive of marginalized LGBTQ+ persons, Human Rights Activists/Defenders, sexual minorities, groups including, but not limited to, families of color, trans families, single parents, polyamorous families, isolated families in rural towns, families of low socioeconomic status, families of differing ability status, and those impacted by HIV and/or AIDS.
Membership Benefits
- Networking Opportunities: Opportunities to attend networking events, workshops, and conferences to build professional and personal connections.
- Counseling and Support Services: Confidential and safe spaces for members to share their experiences and seek assistance & access to counseling services and support groups to address mental health concerns, discrimination, or other challenges faced by LGBTQ individuals.
- Cultural Celebrations: Participation in cultural events and celebrations that showcase and celebrate the diversity of the LGBTQ community.

Full Members of the Organization shall, if in good standing, have access to all membership benefits and have full voting privileges on all matters within its purview.
Types of Membership
Full Members of the Organization shall, if in good standing, have access to all membership benefits and have full voting privileges on all matters within its purview.
Associate* Members is a membership for organizations not meeting the requirement of being a not-for-profit organization. Associate Members of the Organization shall have access to limited membership benefits and shall not have voting privileges on any matter being considered by the Membership.
*Membership dues for Associate Members are based on the organization’s gross income of your organization’s previous fiscal year and are double the dues of those for not-for-profit organizations.
Affiliate Members such as Pride Networks and Partners of the Organization shall have access to limited membership benefits and shall not have voting privileges on any matter being considered by the Membership.
Provisional Members are on a trial period and is for any Pride Organization that has not produced a Pride Event within a 15-month period prior to the Annual General Meeting & World Conference of Conam. Provisional Members of the Organization shall have access to all membership benefits and shall not have voting privileges on any matter being considered by the Membership.
Conam brings together Pride organizers from across the World to network, share knowledge, and maximize impact. We recognize that not all Prides have the finances to be able to join us as members and we want to be able to help with this. If you wish to join or continue being members but need us to waive your fee please write to us and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Cost of MembershipMembership dues for Not-for-Profit organizations are based on your organization’s gross annual income of the previous fiscal year.
